We traveled to Milwaukee to celebrate Christmas with the Rudzik clan (from Thursday to Sunday). The car rides went well with only one stop each way for about 30 minutes!! We arrived at Grandpa and Grandma Rudzik's house around supper time on Thursday. We had tacos and played until "Aunt"" Sarah, "Uncle" Karl and Alana arrived.
Dylan, Hannah and Alana opened gifts. Dylan got a Star Wars shirt, remote control Fin McMissile car and a water bottle with his name on it from Karl, Sarah and Alana. Hannah got a really big (and really pink) stuffed horse and a water bottle with her name on it from Karl, Sarah and Alana.
Dylan was excited to sleep in the "jungle room" again and enjoyed playing with all the stuffed jungle animals and pillow pets. Hannah was excited to jump in crib with the super bouncy mattress! Both kids slept well and napped well the whole weekend.
Friday morning we opened gifts from, and gave gifts to, Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik. Hannah loved her new Fur Real white puppy and Dylan loved his Mouse Trap Game. They had a blast playing with the giant piano (that you can walk on), Zoobles and Lincoln Logs too. Dylan and Hannah had gone with mommy to a pottery painting place and made coffe mugs for Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik which they loved!
Dylan helped Grandma Rudzik make the stuffing for Christmas dinner. The rest of the Rudzik family arrived later to celebrate. Julie, Brian, Andy and Ella Mlagan arrived first. Dylan, Hannah, Andy and Ella all had a chance to play together in the Jungle Room.
Uncle Jeff and Lily arrived next so we were able to get a picture of all of Great Grandma Rudzik's great grandchildren together. Great Grandma Rudzik, Rick and Jan Mlagan, Adam and Holly and Netti, Ron and Danielle Knutson all came as well. Dylan and Andy each got to share their special table grace they usually sing with the family. We had a delicious meal of turkey, ham, perogies, cheesy potatoes, brussel sprouts and rolls. We also had no shortage of Christmas cookies and other treats!
Dylan and Hannah got a toy cash register, musical tea set, musical picnic set, and Little People carnival toy. They also got their traditional ornament from Aunt Netti.
After bathtime and getting cozy in brand new Lightening McQueen and Tinkerbell jammies there was a little more time to play before settling down bedtime. What a wonderful Christmas!! We are blessed!!
