We had plans to celebrate Hannah's birthday in mid-March so Great Grandma Rudzik to be there, before her knee surgery. However, because of illness we had to postpone the gathering to her actual birthday weekend at the last minute. The cookie/cake bouquet (made by a friend of ours) had already been completed and wouldn't stay fresh until the big celebration. So we had a mini-celebration of singing, candle blowing and devouring the cookie bouquet with just Hannah, Dylan, Mommy and Daddy.
Aunt Sarah and Uncle Karl (godparents) sent Hannah a sprinkler toy (to use in the yard this summer) and floating foam blocks to build in the bath with for her birthday!
On Hannah's birthday weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik came from Milwaukee to celebrate with us.
Hannah had a great time opening all her gifts (with LOTS of help from big brother). Hannah got All God's Creatures book, Leap Frog lap top computer, glow in the dark stars, Dora the Explorer bath toy, Tinkerbell outfit, Minnie Mouse dress and lacing cards.
We had spaghetti hot dish, salad and bread for supper. Hannah's birthday cake had Curious George on it (per her insistant requests). Hannah had no hesitation about diving into the frosting on the cake!! She had two mittens and a beard of frosting/cake when she was done:)
Since Great Grandma Rudzik couldn't be there for the birthday, we called her to talk to her. We also brought a little mini cake to Milwaukee for Easter so Great Grandma could see her blow out candles for her birthday.

You are a beatiful, sweet, loving and energetic little girl. You love to follow your brother and do whatever he is doing. You especially love driving around "racing" on your cars. You give hugs freely and love to smile and laugh. You can be strong willed at times but can almost always be reasoned with:) You go down for rests like a dream and sleep well at naps and through the night. You would play outside, play at Mimi/Papa's house and go to Flapdoodles (for icecream) every minute of the day if you could:) You are a blessing to our family and to the world!! We love you very much our sweet little Swiss Miss, Babba Gah, Little Princess and Peekie Bee.
