We were able to celebrate Dylan's birthday on the actual day this year! Mimi Otte, Papa Otte, Mommy, Daddy and Hannah were all together to celebrate with Dylan. We had pizza from Mr. Pizza North, salad and a Curious George themed cake (per Dylan's request). Dylan got a drum set, a garbage truck, aqua sand, hot wheels race tracks, leap frog alphabet practice cards, a gas pump for his ride on car and a balance bike.
Everyone had to wear birthday hats (per Dylan's request). Dylan really liked the garbage truck and the racing tracks (that we hooked up to the counter). Hannah really liked Dylan's drum set and played like a pro from the start. Dylan caught right on to riding the balance bike and likely won't need his training wheels come Spring time.
It is a good thing we celebrated when we did becaus Dylan got sick the very next day with a nasty cold:( We are hoping to celebrate Dylan's birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik when we go to Milwaukee to celebrate Christmas!
