We were fortunate to have Grandma Rudzik, Grandpa Rudzik, Great Grandma Rudzik, Mimi Otte and Papa Otte (Daddy, Mommy and Hannah too of course) all here this past weekend to celebrate Dylan's 4th birthday. We celebrated on Saturday. Per Dylan's request, we had a cake with a Christmas tree on it that had purple frosting:) We also had a cookie bouquet with firetruck, firehat and dalmation shaped cookies (since Dylan wants to be a firefighter when he "gets bigger")!! We ate hotdish, salad and bread before having cake and cookies!! We also opened Dylan's gifts including a big Tonka fire truck that makes noise with a moving ladder (from Mimi and Papa Otte), little remote control fire truck (from Mimi and Papa Otte) , little magnet ball animal things calle Zoobles(from Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik), a game called "I Can Do That" (from Grandma and Grandpa Rudzik), a cool vehicle building set called a Zoombie (that I think daddy enjoys as much as Dylan from Great Grandma Rudzik), an "indestructable" Fischer Price digital camera (from Mommy, Daddy and Hannah) and Snoopy/Mickey Mouse/Lightning Mcqueen musical cards. We also went to Dylan's church Christmas program on Sunday afternoon. We had a blast!!!!
Today Dylan and Mommy went on his preschool trip to the library and got to ride on a school bus to get there! Tonight for supper Dylan chose Noodles & Co. to eat his birthday supper at and McDonalds as the place to get his dessert (a cone). Then we came home and played!!! It was a great day! On Friday Dylan will bring cupcakes for his preschool class to celebrate his birthday!!
