Easter started out very exciting. Upon looking out the window by the front door, Dylan discovered that there was something on the front step!
He couldn't figure out what it was so he wanted to go out to see.
Turns out the Easter Bunny (aka Grammy and Papa Otte) had delivered a truck shape basket filled with plastic eggs. Each one had a little treat in it (cracker or yogurt drop). Dylan figured out very quickly that he could tell the difference between eggs he had already gotten the treat out of and those he hadn't, by shaking it.
He had a little trouble opening the eggs at first and resorted to biting them open when necessary.
He harvested all of the snacks quite efficiently (very food motivated like his mom and dad).
Here is Dylan with a big mouth of snacks showing off his brand new "big boy cup" with his name on it.
He had fun playing with the eggs even when they were empty!
We went out for brunch at the Kahler (where our wedding reception was) with Grammy and Papa Otte!

Dylan was fascinated by the giant bunny ice sculpture!
Did I mention he liked the ice sculpture.
Yep! Still a big fan of the frozen bunny!
